Trail Info

Taft Reserve has several miles of woodland trails with some skirting the edges of fields. The trails are earthen and grass, the terrain gently rolling, and in general this park is quite suitable for beginners. There is an abandoned house and farm outbuildings near Linville Road. There is also one earthen and one stone mound on the reserve. Dogs and horses are permitted on the trails.

Directions

Taft Reserve is located on Flint Ridge Road about one mile east of Linville Road, southeast of Newark, Ohio. From Columbus take I-70 east to SR 13. Take SR 13 north 1.2 miles to US 40 in Jacksontown.
