Rockbridge State Nature Preserve
About the Trails
The main trail is about 3 miles round trip and leads to the largest natural bridge in Ohio. Just past that the trail ends at the Hocking River. There is a 1 mile side loop trail. Trails here are narrow and somewhat rocky (natural sandstone) in places.
How to Get There
Head southeast From Lancaster, OH on US Route 33 about 10 miles. At the first intersection past the rest area, turn left on Township Road 504, then immediately turn left again on Township Road 503, and follow it to the parking lot (about 1/2 mile). There is no water or restroom.
The Ohio Division of Natural Areas and Preserves has a detailed page about Rockbridge State Nature Preserve.
